The 6th national seminar of anatomy and clinic on head and neck surgery which was sponsored by magazine Anatomy and Clinics and presented by Shandong University School of Medicine and Qingdao Municipal Hospital was held in the beautiful coastal city of Qingdao in April 26 to 28, 2011. Professor Miao Hua who is the chief editor of Anatomy and Clinics delivered an opening speech. Xiao Xianfu, the director of editorial department of Chinese Medical Doctor Association attended the meeting and made an important speech. More than 100 Scholars and experts attended the seminar from 15 provinces, cities and municipalities, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shandong, Anhui and Jiangsu.

The meeting received 272 academic theses, which discussed the recent development of research of anatomy and clinic on head and neck surgery. Professor Liu Shuwei of Shandong University School of Medicine gave a report entitled "sexual dimorphism of Chinese cerebral cortex".
