Shandong university school of medicine, human anatomy became the first batch of master’s degree authorization centers in China in 1978 and was approved for doctoral degree authorization centers in 1993. On human sectional anatomy research direction, there are 13 doctors and 17 post-graduates have graduated, and there are 14 doctors and 4 post-graduates still in studying.

Shandong University carries out the open strategy in graduate education, pursuing actively the postgraduate training mode of “one student, two teachers, three crossing, four kinds of experience”, outstanding achievements have obtained in graduate students sino-foreign joint training. On the direction of human sectional anatomy, by applying for “countries pay for constructing high level university graduate program” of Country China Scholarship Council, there are 6 doctor graduate students receive funding, they are getting sino-foreign joint training in Kentucky university school of medicine, university of California, Los Angeles and McGill university, Canada respectively; besides, there are 5 doctor graduate students receive funding from “graduate study overseas fund of Shandong University”, in the Chinese university of Hong Kong for joint training.

In addition, the center has been provided the course of human sectional anatomy for all the basic medicine and clinical medical professional graduate students since 1989, writing the book human sectional anatomy which is recommended by the ministry of education.
